District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kishtwar AngrezSingh Rana today inagurated a voluntary Blood Donation Camp which was held inDistrict Hospital Kishtwar here wherein as many as 27 points of blood were donatedby the donors in the camp.

Commander Sector 9 RR, Vikram Bhan, Senior Superintendent ofPolice Kishtwar Dr. Harmeet Singh Mehta, Commandant CISF, Commandant CRPF,  CMO Kishtwar Dr. Ravinder Singh Manhas, MedicalSuperintendent Dr. Parvez lqbal Wani

Dy. CMO Kishtwar Dr. Mohd Yaqoob Mir, ASP Kishtwar NasirKhan, Consultant doctors, Medical Offiers, Paramedical Staff of DistrictHospital Kishtwar, Senior citizens, nursing stdents of BGSBU, Students of ANMTSchool Kishtwar and large number of public attended the function.Whileaddressing the participants, DDC Kishtwar appealed to the participants tospread the message of voluntary blood donation to every nook and corner of thedistrict.

He further assured Hospital authorities his full support inevery aspect of patient care.

He lauded the efforts of hospital authorties, Doctors, andParamedical Staff in maintaining, professionalism,  cleanliness and improving in their workingenviorment and also advised them to maintain the same in near future.

Commander Sector 9RR in his address assured the hospitalauthorties regarding participation in such activities as and when required bythe hospital.Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar Dr. Parvez IqbalWani welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and also expressed hisgratituted to the dignitries and to the voluntary donors  especially Army, Paramiltry and Police ForcePersonals.

He also spoke regarding the importance of blood donation tomake blood bank functional.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ravinder Singh Manhas Kishtwar inhis address also spoke regarding spreading the message of voluntary blooddonation to general public of district by organsing such camps in rural areas.DrKanchan Medical Officer (Dip Pathology) I/C Blood Bank spoke about the functionof the blood  bank, voluntary blooddonation and positive efiects on the health of donors.

At the end Medical Superintendent DH Kishtwar presented voteof thanks to dignitaries and participants for making the occasion successfull.
